Our trip started really early in the morning on Saturday the 18th of February. We got up at around 5, and the bus left at 6:45 so that we enough time for checking in at Evenes Airport before catching the plane to Gardermoen leaving at 8:15. Thanks to Trond for driving us to the airport. The flight was okay, and we landed on schedule in Oslo. There was a small change in the plans of the teacher as we had to wait a couple of hours more than expected at the airport. We waited four hours, and then we took the bus to Hønefoss, where the cab was waiting to take us all the way to Hedal. In Hedal, Bror, the former principle of Soltun was waiting for us, and he showed us the house in which we were going to stay the three next nights. We didn't really do much else than relaxing that evening, and Alam prepared dinner for us that we all ate together. Chicken and pasta.

Next day was Sunday, and Elena, Øyvind, Margaret and Leah went to Hedal church with Bror. Hedal church is very old, almost 850 years. It was an interesting service, and afterwards Bror gave us some more information about the history of the church. From there we went back to the house and did some skiing. Leah and Margaret prepared dinner for us, and the rest of the evening we spent at the house.

On Monday we all drove off to go skiing. We were skiing downhill for some time, and got terribly lost surrounded by cows. We decided that the students was going back to the house, while Øyvind had to go back uphill to get to the car. We all met at the house, and afterwards we left for the primary school to meet some children in 6th grade. We were the centre of attention and the kids were interviewing us. It was a lot of fun, and the kids didn't want to go home, and actually asked their teacher if she could drive them home later. In the evening we visited Bror's home and got served pizzas for dinner, and had some nice and fun talks with them.

Next morning we left for Bergen. More information to come later...
